Your arrival in Bishkek is scheduled for the morning of day 1.

Example: You book a road trip during the period from June 25 to July 4. You will fly to Kyrgyzstan on June 24 and be back home on July 4. Don't forget to take this into account when booking your own flights. If you book your flights with us, you'll leave a day earlier and return on the same day you take off from Bishkek.

From the plane, you will catch a glimpse of the sun rising over the capital of this fascinating country. You can then head to Bishkek where you will experience your first local immersion on foot. Stroll at your own pace through its wide tree-lined avenues, explore Osh Bazaar, a market bursting with colors, flavors, and local crafts. Discover its quaint little restaurants, iconic squares, and museums filled with history.

Accommodation: In the evening, you will sleep in a classic hotel in Bishkek, a well-located establishment right in the heart of the capital, just a few steps away from lively cafes and local markets.

For this second day, you will pick up your vehicle and receive a brief overview of the Kyrgyz traffic rules.

Then, you can start your journey towards the mountains. Along the way, you’ll cross your first passes, including the Too-Ashuu Pass, which rises to over 3,000 meters in altitude. From there, you'll have an unbeatable view of the vast steppes and surrounding valleys.

For hiking enthusiasts, there will be an opportunity to stop and explore the Sulutor Lakes on foot. These true gems nestled in the heart of the mountains offer a canvas of turquoise and emerald green hues, surrounded by alpine pastures where it's common to spot free-roaming horses.

Accommodation: In the evening, you will be welcomed into a traditional Kyrgyz guesthouse, located in the heart of the charming village of Kyzyl-Oi. You’ll share a warm moment with your hosts, learn about their way of life, and taste homemade dishes prepared with local ingredients. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, and the friendly atmosphere provides a unique immersion into the hospitable culture of Kyrgyzstan.

You will then continue your adventure through the majestic Suusamyr Valley, crisscrossed by wild rivers and surreal landscapes. Perfect for passionate photographers or drone enthusiasts, these breathtaking panoramas will create stunning photos.

As you proceed, you'll pass through the spectacular Kekemeren gorges and see imposing rocks in vibrant colors. This stretch is a true immersion in the vastness and raw beauty of Kyrgyz nature.

At the end of the day, you'll arrive at your next stop: a traditional yurt camp located near Song-Kul Lake. This lake, perched at over 3,000 meters above sea level, is the perfect spot to watch the sunset paint the surrounding mountains.

Accommodation: Each duo/trio/quartet will sleep in their own yurt, equipped with a stove and electricity during the day, as the camp is powered by solar energy. A yurt restaurant is available for meals and sanitation facilities are accessible.

This fourth day invites you to fulfill a dream: to explore the vast Kyrgyz steppes on horseback or on foot, with stunning views of the lake. It's a complete immersion into nomadic life where ancient traditions and historical remnants blend in a magnificent setting.

As evening falls, let yourself be soothed by the millennia-old practices of traditional cooking, before gazing at the Milky Way by the campfire.

Accommodation: You'll spend a second night in the yurt camp.

You will start your fifth day by leaving the shores of Lake Song-Kul, heading towards Cholpon Ata. Along the way, you'll cross another pass where the winding roads shape the landscape and create a naturally artistic view.

You’ll cross vast meadows where herds graze and small villages are scattered. This day will be an opportunity to soak up the truly unique atmosphere of this still little-known country.

Next, you will arrive at the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, a place of rare beauty, often compared to an inland sea due to its impressive size and fresh water. You'll have the chance to explore the beaches of Balykchy before arriving in Cholpon Ata and checking into your hotel.

Accommodation: The hotel offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms, some with stunning views of the surrounding mountains or the lake. Located not far from the racetrack, you can also enjoy its high-quality restaurant.

On this sixth day, you'll follow the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul to the spectacular Grigorievka Gorge. This impressive natural site looks like something out of a movie, with rushing waters, entire forests of conifers, and lush green patches.

This day will also be an opportunity to explore the city of Karakol. This place is known for its proximity to nature, serving as a starting point for outdoor activities, including hiking in the Altyn Arashan valley. Karakol also offers a glimpse into the country's religious heritage, with its wooden mosque, Russian Orthodox church, and remnants of nomadic traditions.

Accommodation: Tonight, you'll stay in a modern guesthouse connected to the main residence of its owners. Each room has a private bathroom. There's a shared lounge, and you'll enjoy a comfortable night before continuing your journey on the Kyrgyz roads.

The next day, you'll leave Karakol and take the road to Bokonbayevo. Along the way, you'll once again be rocked by the breathtaking landscapes of Kyrgyz nature.

A first detour will take you to the Jeti-Ögüz Gorge, a spectacular site known for its rock formations, before continuing on to the Barksoon Waterfalls.

Next, you'll head towards the Skazka Canyon, whose nickname 'Fairy Tale Valley' truly comes to life in front of its unreal-colored rock formations.

Accommodation: Finally, you'll arrive at Bokonbayevo, a peaceful village where you'll spend a night under the stars in a lush yurt camp. Each yurt is private, the bathrooms are shared, and its highlight is undoubtedly the dining hall.

On the eighth day, you'll travel from Bokonbayevo to the Chon-Kemin valley.

You'll have the chance to visit the “canyon of the forgotten river,” where water and time have sculpted a true labyrinth of fantastical shapes, leading down to the shores of Issyk-Kul.

Then, you'll continue on to two canyons with breathtaking landscapes. The Kok-Monok Canyon, which is less known and more intimate, is perfect for a short walk. Further along, the Konorchek Canyon will impress you with its towering red walls and spectacular formations, nicknamed the “fairy chimneys.” The route will also follow the Chu River, which winds through plains and gorges, adding a touch of serenity to this part of your adventure.

Accommodation: In the evening, you'll sleep in a charming hotel in the heart of the Chon Kemin valley. The rooms offer stunning views of the mountains, and the terrace is a true haven of peace.

Your ninth and final day of the road trip begins in the Chon-Kemin Valley. You’ll get to enjoy its nature reserve. The Kegeti waterfall and the nearby high-altitude lake will be your ultimate immersion in Kyrgyz nature.

Next, you’ll pass by the Burana Tower before heading towards Bishkek. The vehicle must be returned by 7 PM at the hotel where you'll spend your last night.

Accommodation: Located in a quiet neighborhood of Bishkek, close to the city center, the hotel combines contemporary design with local touches, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, perfect for resting after your adventure.

After ten days in Kyrgyzstan, it will be time to say goodbye to its stunning landscapes, the friendliness of the locals, and its very unique culture to head back to Europe.
